Joining the Positivus Festival lineup are the ethno-pop music group Tautumeitas, rapper Deniss, singer STIRNA, and local rapper galeniex.

In this year’s Eurovision Song Contest final, the ethno-pop group Tautumeitas earned an honorable 13th place with their song “Bur man laimi”. Blending traditional Latvian folk melodies and lyrics with modern beats, Tautumeitas create a magical and uniquely Latvian sound. Over the past 10 years, the group has received multiple Latvian Music Recording Awards, the “Zelta mikrofons”.

Rapper Deniss is known for his unique style that blends emotional life experiences, sharp humor, and social commentary. His music reflects personal struggles, hope, and a deep desire to inspire others. Celebrating 10 years in the hip-hop scene, Deniss released his long-awaited debut album “22” this March.

With a story that moves and a presence that inspires, one of the boldest new voices in Latvian music, STIRNA (Lilita Vīdnere), will make her festival debut. Her song “Pirksti dūrē”, released only in early April, has already become an unexpected sensation, with over 4 million plays on TikTok.

Latvian rapper galeniex rose to wider recognition with the release of his 2024 debut album “Vernisāža”, which won the Latvian Music Recording Award “Zelta mikrofons” in the category “Best Debut Album”. In the fifth season of “371 Battle”, he stood out with a confident and precise performance, earning the title of season champion. Galeniex is also a member of the collective “Klīnikas ieraksti”.
