This year Positivus has put an extra thought into the good times for the small visitors of the festival and has organized an entire territory for kids – Kids Island. While parents will enjoy the festival, kids together with dwarfs, fairies and Indians will have a chance to indulge in playing games, having sport activities and adventures that develop their intelligence – and this is only a part of the generous program that will keep busy and entertain the festival’s youngest visitors.

At the  Kids Island toddlers and bigger kids will be looked after by professional nannies from private preschool Rezidence Laumiņa, so the parents meanwhile can enjoy the festival.

Meanwhile language training center Little More will help to learn foreign language basics to kids of all ages – it well be possible to look into the world of dwarfs, travel to jungle and visit a very unusual house and learn, sing, dance and play simultaneously.

The musical entertainment and education for the little ones will be provided by Andžeja Grauda Drums School, while it will be possible to learn the basics of ballet dance together with the dancing school Color Point.

Games for development, experiments and intelligent competitions will be provided by kids curiosity center Zinoo; the masters of table games Brain Games; the project Kokmaizītes that is devoted for the Latvian culture environment; the producer of eco toys VARIS Toys; as well as Smuklietas – the creator Latvian made constructors and puzzles. The little fashion ladies will have a chance to realize their dreams together with Claudia paper dolls workshop as well as in the workshop for Indian hair ornaments.

One-day entrance ticket to the Kids Island will cost 7 Euros, three-day ticket – 15 Euros. Since capacity at the Kids Island is limited, preference will be given for those that have purchased tickets in advance, however the tickets will be available on the festival site as well. Parents have to make sure that the kids have clothing suitable for weather and a hat. Children must be enrolled and picked up at the Kids Island by the same person, ID will be required.
