MARK RONSON RETURNS TO POSITIVUS FOR A SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY DJ PERFORMANCE

Global superstar, music producer and DJ Mark Ronson will perform at Positivus Festival on Friday night, July 15. Right after Ellie Goulding’s set, Ronson will play a special festival anniversary DJ set on the Nordea stage, delivering the biggest, loudest and wildest performance of epic proportions to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Positivus Festival. Ever since rocking Positivus main stage back in 2011, Ronson has been a most expected festival guest.

Undoubtedly one of the hottest names in the music business for two decades straight, Mark Ronson has established a name for himself as an incredibly talented producer, DJ and solo performer, effortlessly alternating between the most versatile music genres – from hip hop and electronica, to alt-rock.

Ronson’s name is closely linked to the late singer and friend Amy Winehouse, for whom he produced her breakthrough album Back To Black (2006). In 2008 Ronson received three Grammy Awards for his work with Winehouse – for producing the single Rehab, Back to Black and as the Producer of the Year.

Last year Ronson released his fourth studio album Uptown Special, which he dedicated to Amy Winehouse. The album became Ronson’s first number one on the UK Albums Chart, with its hit single Uptown Funk (featuring singer Bruno Mars) receiving two Grammy Awards – for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
